These are non-invasive gentle modalities that have been around for many centuries, across cultures. It is a tool for healing that will help move you into a place of balance. Sound is a powerful tool and has the unique ability to affect our moods and support physical well-being. When integrated into your daily practice and wellness routine, sound can have profound effects both emotionally and physically. With sound, you integrate your auditory senses to achieve a state of relaxation that supports and helps in regulating the nervous system. Sound Mindfulness is a form of meditation and self expression. Benefits of sound and vibrational therapies include: stress reduction, increase spatial awareness, empower positive cognitive change, enhance self awareness, assist in regulating the nervous system, improve concentration, develop self compassion, integrates left and right brain also known as entrainment, supports your wellness and health journeys: pain managment, high blood pressure.

 

EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUES: EFT TAPPING

Emotional Freedom Techniques, or EFT, is an evidenced-based psychological acupressure technique, based on the same energy meridians used in traditional acupuncture to treat physical and emotional ailments for over 5,000 years, but without the invasiveness of needles. Instead, simple tapping with the fingertips is used to input kinetic energy onto specific meridians on designated points while you think about your specific problem — whether it is a traumatic event, an addiction, pain, etc. — and voice positive affirmations. This combination of tapping the energy meridians and voicing positive affirmation works to clear the "short-circuit" or emotional block you may be experiencing. You will be tapping with your fingers. There are a number of acupuncture meridians on your fingertips, and when you tap with your fingertips you are also likely using not only the meridians you are tapping on, but also the ones on your fingers.
